We all have experienced their selfless dedication towards us and toward humanity. Needless to say, they saved the collapsing existence of humans during the harsh Covid-19 pandemic. Apart from playing a role as strict healthcare professionals, they even form an emotional attachment to their patients to comfort them. Nurses play a diverse role and closely influence all our lives. Each year 12th of May is dedicated to our “Superheroes in scrubs” and the day is celebrated as International Nurses Day to honor their eternal commitment and selfless dedication to our society. Hence, the term “NURSE” accurately defined as;

N= Nobility, Nursing as a profession started in the 19th century and since then it has proved to be amongst the most respected professions

U= Understanding, Nurses play a pivotal role by acting as a bridge between doctors and patients to understand and fraternize the needs of both ends

R= Responsibility, with great power, comes great responsibilities. Their selfless outlook as caregivers should be applauded.

S= Sympathy, Being a part of the healthcare system it’s difficult to deal with patients having infections/ non-infectious diseases, but we can’t thank them enough for keeping all fear and worries at the back and mustering all the courage to comfort the fragile once.

E= Efficiency, They work tirelessly outside their inflexible shifts to take care of our loved ones.

On this International Nurse day, Yoda appreciates the unending efforts of all the nurses for their sincere efforts. Yoda believes gratitude makes a difference. We acknowledge these immortal caregivers and healers for keeping their emotional and physical health at risk to cater to our needs. And most importantly, for providing us a helping hand without expecting any further returns. Let us all come together and shout out for all their hard work by sending them appreciation, love, and most importantly our blessings.
